Solid Wooden Nail Brush, with plant fibre bristles
This lovely little brush is made from an oiled beechwood and tampico fibre bristles. Tampico is a very robust fibre from the yellow leaf of the agave cactus, which grows only in the highlands of northern Mexico. Tampico has great water-retaining properties, is resistant and hard-wearing, and keeps its shape without softening. The fibre has tiny hooks on the shafts, which gives it a natural slightly abrasive quality.
Spoil your finger tips today with a natural alternative to the toxic plastic brushes that will take thousands of years to break down. The handy rope can be used to hang the brush between uses. This wooden nail brush is hardy enough to be used in a wet environment and then left to dry out. You should get years of reliable service from a single brush. Best of all, at the end of its life, you can simply compost, bury in the garden or send to landfill with a clear conscience. The brushes are made in Germany by a family owned factory that has specialized in traditional brush making for hundreds of years.
The dimensions of the brush are 8x3x3cm. This makes it handy enough to travel with as it will easily pop into your cosmetics bag.
