Liquid castile soap is becoming more popular as a home and household cleaner. This is for good reason. Made with simple, safe ingredients it packs a powerful cleaning punch without the harsh toxic chemicals present in commercial cleaners. Realistically, you could replace your entire suite of specific cleaning products with a natural castile soap. Forget about having to have a different spray bottle for windows, loos, floors and wiping. A good liquid castile soap will do the job for you and it better for the environment.
Liquid castile soap is a high quality product made with pure oils and alkalines. In its pure form it contains no fillers or thickeners and doesn’t need the addition of any nasty ingredients to make it work better. Before the advent of commercial cleaners of every variety, it was the go to for all home and household cleaning needs – our great parents knew of nothing except simple soap and things like baking soda and vinegar. You can even use it on your own hair, its that safe and natural.
Most liquid castile soap in New Zealand is made by small businesses, which means every time you buy some, you are supporting small enterprise and communities across the motu. Many of these businesses are registered with the New Zealand Made campaign so have a quick look to see which NZ business you can support.
So how can you use it for natural home cleaning?
